The Prophet (saw) said: “It is the sunnah of your father Ibrahim (as). For every hair of the Qurbani you receive a reward from Allah (swt).” [Tirmidhi]
Qurbani is a reminder of Prophet Ibrahim’s (as) obedience and devotion to Allah (swt). It is a religious obligation that must be met by sacrificing an animal during Eid-al-Adha. It takes place in the 12th month of the Islamic calendar, Dhul Hijjah, and the meat is distributed to the poor. This year your Qurbani donations will be distributed in Bangladesh, Syria, Burma, Gaza, Pakistan, Gambia, Tanzania, Kenya and Somalia.
Your Previous Donations
Last year your donations helped hundreds of families in Syria, Burma, Bangladesh, Gaza and Pakistan. Meat was distributed by our teams on the ground.
