The UN estimates that over one million people have been displaced from this crisis. Over 1 million have fled to neighbouring Bangladesh whilst more than half of a million people have been affected by the recent monsoons. Men, women and children are in desperate need of food, water and Shelter.
With over 1 million people displaced and no regular source of income, people have been left with nothing but hope and reliance on others to help provide Food for themselves and their Families. One Ummah is working hard on the ground providing Food Packs to families that last upto 1 month and are absolutely essential.
Food Packs are distributed to families in camps across Tekhnaf border region of Bangladesh and also Arkan state in Burma.
Rohingya Kitchen - Iftar
With no regular source of income, buying regular Food has become difficult for the Rohingya, even the basics such as rice. Hope and reliance is now on us to help provide Food for them. Thousand of Meals are then distributed daily in camps across the border region of Bangladesh for the rohingya.
