One Ummah are in the process of sending out a UK team to assist with the efforts on the ground.
Bangladesh is suffering right now as heavy monsoon rains have caused rivers to burst their banks. 2 million people in the North East of Bangladesh have been cut off and are relying on help to survive. Sadly, dozens have died and the death toll is only expected to increase. Sylhet and Synamganj have been affected most and tens of thousands of families could run out of food within a couple of days.
The One Ummah team are working tirelessly on the ground to save as many lives as possible in dozens of areas in the North East of Bangladesh.
