THEY’RE OUR CHILDREN

One Ummah are looking after orphans across the world. This includes Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Malawi and Bangladesh where children have been left with no hope, without your generous support.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said “I and the one who looks after an orphan will be together like this in paradise”, and he held his two fingers together. [Bukhari]

The Prophet Muhammed  (ﷺ) said: “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate. [Bukhari]

Just imagine sitting in Jannah, drinking water from the hands of Rasulullah s.a.w. at the basin of Al-Kauthar! The ones who take care of precious orphans are the ones who deserve this reward!

You can take care of an orphan for only £30 a month, which is just £1 a day. This can provide the orphan with food, water, shelter, medicine and an education and can ultimately change their lives forever.

Orphans FAQs

1 Does the orphan receive sponsorship money every month?

We provide the guardian with four quarterly payments throughout the year. Distribution of payments usually occur in March, June, September and December. The month can vary depending on the country.

2 How is the sponsorship money spent?

We aim to meet the needs of each orphan by providing them with shelter, food, education, medicine and clothing.

3 How long will the sponsorship last?

We encourage donors to provide an orphan with a minimum sponsorship period of one year, however you can sponsor a child for as long as you wish, up to the age of 16. In certain cases, this sponsorship can be extended past the age of 16, for example for medical or academic reasons.

4 What information will I receive about the orphan I sponsor?

When you start your sponsorship, we will send you an introduction letter to the process within 4-6 weeks of payment. We aim to send a detailed report of your sponsored orphan every year containing a photo, school report and a letter/drawing from the orphan child.
