    Brand Marketing Officer

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Offline Marketing Officer to lead and execute our national offline outreach strategy. This role is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of grassroots marketing and the ability to manage branded merchandise, printed materials, partnerships, and offline advertising channels.

    JOB SUMMARY

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Offline Marketing Officer to lead and execute our national offline outreach strategy. This role is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of grassroots marketing and the ability to manage branded merchandise, printed materials, partnerships, and offline advertising channels.

    You will take full responsibility for producing, distributing, and maintaining all physical marketing assets while identifying opportunities to grow our offline presence, especially within mosques, Islamic schools, halal businesses, and Muslim community hubs.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    Social Media Development:

    Brand Merchandise Management

    • Manage the concept, design, procurement, and stock of all branded items including:
    • Charity pens, prayer mats, trolley coins, fridge magnets
    • Giveaway packs for donors and events
    • Liaise with designers and suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.

    Printed Materials & Distribution

    • Oversee production of all print materials such as: Campaign leaflets, donation forms, posters, and annual reports
    • Coordinate national distribution in mosques, halal shops, Islamic schools, and Muslim-owned businesses.
    • Maintain relationships with distribution partners and regional volunteers for grassroots outreach.

    Community Partnerships & Outreach

    • Build partnerships with Islamic schools, masajid, restaurants, and businesses for display and distribution of charity materials.
    • Plan leaflet drops and organise poster placements in high-footfall Muslim locations.
    • Identify opportunities for offline collaboration with Islamic influencers and community events.

    Mail Marketing

    • Lead on physical mail campaigns including donation requests, campaign booklets, newsletters, annual reports, and thank-you letters.
    • Oversee data list management, segmentation, and coordination with fulfilment providers.
    • Monitor and report on response rates and donor engagement from mail campaigns.

    Offline Advertising & Outdoor Media

    • Plan and deliver high-impact billboard and outdoor advertising campaigns (including transport ads and local publications).
    • Research and recommend advertising locations in areas with high Muslim populations.
    • Track campaign effectiveness through QR codes, custom URLs, or promo codes.

    Logistics, Inventory, and Budget

    • Maintain up-to-date stock levels of all offline materials and merchandise.
    • Manage logistics of distribution and internal fulfilment for campaign assets.
    • Monitor offline marketing budget and ensure value for money through supplier negotiation.

    Event Marketing Support

    • Coordinate offline assets for all on-the-ground events (e.g. Eid in the Park, fundraising events, school talks).
    • Ensure smooth set-up of charity stalls with banners, buckets, flyers, and branded materials.
    • Collaborate with the creative team to prepare visually impactful print assets for events.

    Monitoring & Reporting

    • Track the reach and ROI of offline campaigns.
    • Submit monthly reports highlighting completed activities, stock levels, distribution coverage, campaign engagement, and suggestions for improvement.
    • Keep updated with offline marketing trends and apply innovative approaches tailored to Muslim audiences.

    Qualifications:

    • Educated to University Level (E

    Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

    • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, sales, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent work experience and a strong marketing portfolio may also be considered (E).
    • 2+ years of experience in offline or field marketing, preferably within charity, events, or retail sectors (E).
    • Strong project management and organisational skills (E).
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (E).
    • Proficient in managing suppliers, print production, and basic budgeting (E).
    • Ability to multitask across multiple campaigns and meet deadlines (E).
    • Knowledge of the UK Muslim demographic and community networks (E).
    • A deep understanding of humanitarian challenges, global issues, and cultural sensitivities to write compassionately and responsibly about the charity's mission and the communities it serves (D).
    • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality content on time (E).
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, contributing ideas and actively participating in discussions. Simultaneously, the candidate should be self-motivated and capable of taking initiative independently when required (E).
    • An empathetic nature and a genuine dedication to contributing to positive change in the world through humanitarian efforts.
    • Proficiency in English, with strong grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills (E).
    • A valid UK driving licence (E).

    Desirable

    • Previous experience working with an Islamic organisation or Muslim audience.
    • Understanding of Islamic terminology, seasonal campaigns (Ramadan, Qurbani, etc.), and halal market dynamics.
    • Familiarity with CRM or stock management tools.
    • Experience with offline-to-online funnel tracking (QR codes, short links, promo codes).
