7. Donations and Payments 

Donations 

When donating through our website, you confirm that:

By donating, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily contributing funds to support our charitable work and that no goods or services are provided in return. 

Donations made through this website are used to support our charitable programmes. No physical goods or services are delivered or supplied in exchange for donations. 

Payment Processing 

All online payments are processed securely through third-party, PCI-DSS compliant payment providers. We do not store your full payment details. 

 

Recurring Donations 

If you select a recurring donation: 
• payments will be charged monthly (unless otherwise stated at the time of donation) 
• donations will continue automatically until cancelled 

You may cancel your recurring donation at any time by contacting us at info@oneummah.org.uk or through your donor account (if available). 

 

Gift Aid 

If you make a Gift Aid declaration, you confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in any tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference. 

You also confirm that you will notify us if you wish to cancel your declaration, change your name or address, or no longer meet the eligibility criteria for Gift Aid. 

 

8. Refund Policy 

Under charity law, donations cannot usually be refunded unless a genuine mistake has been made. 

We may issue a refund at our discretion if: 
• a donation was made in error, and 
• the request is made within 30 days of the donation 

Refunds must be processed via the original payment method. 
Cash donations cannot be refunded.

9. Cancellation Policy 

You may cancel a recurring donation at any time. 

To cancel, you can: 
• contact us at  
• use your donor account (if available) 

Cancellation will take effect before the next scheduled payment, provided sufficient notice is given. Once a payment has been processed, it cannot be cancelled and will be treated as a donation under our Refund Policy. 

After cancellation, no further payments will be taken. 

 

10. Our Liability 

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: 
• death or personal injury caused by negligence 
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation 
• any matter where limitation would be unlawful 

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: 
• indirect or consequential losses 
• loss of data, profits, revenue, or business 
• losses arising from your use of or inability to use the website 

 

11. Changes to These Terms 

We may update these Terms occasionally. The updated version will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date. 

If the changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. 
Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
