Humanitarian crisis worsens in Lebanon
Lebanon has suffered its worst day in 18 years after airstrikes killed over 800 people.
Our Ummah is facing a crisis once again. On September 23rd, 2024, Lebanon suffered its darkest day in decades. Over 550 innocent lives have been lost in the brutal airstrikes, and over 150 were women and children. With a further 2,000+ critically injured, the tragedy brings back the horrific memories of 2006.
Lebanon is home to over 1.7 million Syrian and Palestinian refugees – a quarter of the country’s population. The devastation has thrown over 120,000 people into destitution as families fled their homes in terror, seeking shelter in overcrowded schools as bombs rain down. With a harsh winter approaching, these innocent people desperately need our help to survive.
As Muslims, we have a sacred duty to stand with our Ummah in their time of need. That time is now. Your donations can be the difference between life and death. The Messenger of Allahﷺ said, “The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body.
